The team of Tony and Al bring 30 plus years to the repair and service business. They have provide bench repairs and on site repairs to the ADIC/ Quantum: Storagetek / Sun tape libraries and LTO tapes. Also the DLT tape line has been part of their experience. This allows Pinetree to offer world class service to the ind user customers or distributors reseller. This service can be delivered over the phone in the form of technical support or on site. Tape backup systems are set up in the plant to test the parts repaired before shipping in the unit that it will be used in. This has given us a greater than 99% acceptance of repairs that were done in the Pinetree Peripherals 1nc plant.

Mike Ramey has passed away Tuesday July 19th. He was a major contributer to Pinetree Peripherals for the last 19 years. His skills of trouble shooting problems and teaching team members how to do the job added quality and growth.His positive attitude and great memory provided a source of success. His sense of humor was only surpassed by his striving for excellence. He continually pushed us all to learn more and expand our business horizons. He will be missed

No spin: the recession, the retrenchment of our core market and the consolidation of the major manufacturers in the tape drive and library business, has been tough for us. For Pinetree, this ever shrinking pie, has forced us to take some seemingly drastic measures to industry our continued ability to be a top notch provider of tape drive and tape library repair services, which included closing our second depot repair facility in Florida. By moving all of our repair depot service to our Longmont location, we can now provide seamless repair and maintenance contract services to our customers. The economies we realize through the consolidation will allow us to remain competitively priced and expansion of our tape backup drive repair services.
Reducing the overhead of two facilities as well the bureaucracy of entrenched fiefdoms with a larger company, allows Pinetree to become more agile in fulfilling our mission to our tape drive and tape library customer base, and right here and right now we wish to thank all of our customers who remained loyal to us through this tough bit as well as the vendors who continue to work with us to recreate a leaner, meaner, tape drive and library repair machine.

The consolidation of Florida ops and inventory into Colorado ops and inventory is complete. The team has been enhanced by the re hiring of Alvin Gomez.
