The Pinetree team has added repair of additional tape drives manufactured by HP, Quantum, IBM and Overland data. The process is being used to do this has been tested on the other products and has produced excellent results. The acceptance of the repair is 98% or greater in the field. The returns for warranty are less than 1 % to keep the cost down for the user. Tape drives from Storagetek tape libraries are are updated to the latest level available. This additional capability provides support to the field service personal that are maintaining the tape libraries. Storagetek libraries are L20, L40 .L80, L700 and SL500. The ADIC (Quantum) tape library support includes the Scalar i200, Scalar 1000, Scalar 100 and Scalar 24. This support consists for repair , service and sales The Quantum M 1500 and M2500 are also supportable with spares and service. The HP tape libraries are the Surestore Tape Autoloader series that are repairable and serviceable by the team at Pinetree Peripherals 1nc. The tape drives from the Dell Powervault 132T and Powervault 122T are included in the repair list. The older products are still repairable and Pinetree has parts to do the repair.
