Here in Colorado we are looking forward to spring. The winter has been unusual with different pattern of snowstorms. The snow came often enough to give good moisture across the state. Spring always means new things are blooming and growing. In keeping with the season business seems to be improving and growing with more calls and more orders. The business could be better but it is good enough to keep us going and able to be profitable. Pinetree Peripherals 1nc has added a new employee to the technical team. Terry Vanzant worked at Storagetek and Sun for 33 years. He brings lots of experience and in depth knowledge of the tape products. We welcome him to our team and look forward to adding new products using his knowledge base to do a world class job.
Among the "new things" popping up here, is the finalization of the SUN Oracle merger. Understandably, it may a bit disconcerting to rely on a ‘software’ company to support your hardware, after all, as the old adage goes: "a jack of all trades is a master of none."
Pinetree Peripherals is in the business of providing sales, repair and maintenance support for your StorageTek, Sun StorEdge tape drives and tape libraries. With the addition of Terry to our product engineering team, Pinetree will continue to provide the same world-class services to which our customers have become accustomed to expecting. Just spring follows the winter, we will continue to provide these services regardless of how many times the name on the hardware information plate may change.
Why not?” is a slogan for an interesting life.
